Ok so dp is without a doubt the most difficult person to buy for - as I'm sure most other blokes are...

Thought we could have a thread with ideas - past or present.

My ideas so far are

Sky Hd
A dressing gown to stop him stealing mine
A head torch so he can read in bed without disturbing me
Something liverpool fc related

probably won't do pressies for each other this year. He's just bought me a lovely bag by kipling, early pressie.i expect i'll give him something free probably and he'll be happy enough

ClaireDeLoon · 09/10/2008 20:53

Bloss - it is this

mamadiva · 09/10/2008 20:53

We don't really do christmas for each other we are really skint this year so all money goes on DS £40 or something this year.

Although every year we do put in a tenner each to get from the charity tree in town, it's really nice you pic an envelope with a name on it IE Craig Age 3 and you buy them a little present and hand it in as it's all kids who are in the local children's home

We are going on holiday just before christmas so will get him socks, books etc, nothing big.

Main presents this year are to be a new tennis raquet (sp?) a new laptop bag and some cufflinks. Other than that just the small stuff that you put in the stocking.

LOL fairyfly .

UmMwahahahaaaaa (brilliant name, by the way!) - I think I need to get onto the Arsenal website!

The only good thing about having a DH who loves Arsenal (there used to be two but Thierry Henry's now left the club...) - just get him any old rubbish a thoughtfully selected gift from the AFC website!

fairyfly · 10/10/2008 18:14

Thanks Scatty, i was beginning to think i didn't have it anymore, by that i don't mean cunnilingus with head gear.

MurderAtTheDiscoDizzy · 10/10/2008 18:21

I want to get DH a watch that he really really really wants, but its sooooo much money and he's put off buying it for the last couple of years because despite the fact he wants it, we keep spending money on the house instead.

Do you think I should buy it at a cheaper price off the internet or weigh in tesco vouchers at Goldsmiths and then get it cheaper once the vouchers have been taken off?

geordieminx · 10/10/2008 18:53

I would go for which ever option is the cheapest?

If the internet is cheaper than with tesco vouchers then you are probably best getting it on line then you can use the tesco vouchers for something else?
