Just want to be really smug but apart from the odd stocking filler I have just done all my shopping on the internet and fingers crossed will be delivered in a few days

Ah love the internet

Milliways · 02/10/2008 19:53

Gosh! My DS only ever decides what he wants in December!

TheMadHouse · 02/10/2008 19:55

I am pretty much done too. I buy something each month as it is the only way we can afford it. Also that way you tend to get bargains.

Just got my boots points to spend and get some aftershave for DH

Mercy · 02/10/2008 19:57

You are mad

I once did most of the Christmas present shopping by late October and was really deflated by December.

nolongeraworriedmummy · 02/10/2008 19:59

I have bought a little purse of chocolate coins and 2 little polly pocket cars and that is it, am so

CherryChapstick · 02/10/2008 20:02

I bought 2 box's Jacobs biscuits for cheese selection last week in Lidl as they were 52p each. That is all I have done and I thought that was ahead of time.

kitbit · 02/10/2008 20:02

bog off

in a nice way

TheMadHouse · 02/10/2008 20:05

Mercy - I am indeed Mad hence the name. I actually feel rather smug actually.

I even have the fruit soaking for christmas cakes and puddings

expatinscotland · 02/10/2008 20:07

finished here, too!

even stocking stuffers.

kitbit · 02/10/2008 20:08

oh lordy, I am going to be SOOO disorganised this Christmas I can just FEEL it. Someone said today it's only 12 weeks to go. WAAAAAA

Mercy · 02/10/2008 20:12

Well I'm very envious of your cooking skills tbh!

expatinscotland · 02/10/2008 20:15

pound shops for stocking fillers exclusively here!

for the girls: smelly shampoos and conditioners (alberto balsam), sweeties divided up into Xmas bags, glow sticks, glow in the dark stars, plastic mugs, glitter hair spray, lipglosses, travel sized bubble bath and lotion, etc.

for DH: nuts, sweets, a tartan rubic's cube, soup mug, etc.

lakeland also has some good stocking fillers.

expatinscotland · 02/10/2008 20:16

my cakes are done!

three cakes and one loaf tin.

still have fruit soaking that i usually mix with mincemeat (Taylor's) to tart it up a bit and put in mincemeat pies.

i'm due a baby on Halloween so needed to be way organised this year.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 02/10/2008 20:17
