Ocado xmas delivery slot booked - with the traditional couple of bottles of baileys making up the value to allow checkout. I got an email yesterday saying slots available "for you, tomorrow"

So am I special? 🤣 Do they open for everyone on different days, did others get theirs already?

Only asking because I logged on, chose slot, did a shop, checked out. Just like that. No tesco wait-line of doom, no app crashing out, no "sorry, no slots available when YOU want". Was quite civilised.

I’m feeling unloved (and slot-free). I suppose you are all going to tell me that you still get a tenner to spend on wine or chocolate on your Smartpass anniversary, too!

Got my slot for 23rd December today, mine comes from their Warwickshire site.
I spend £200 a week with them and have been a smart pass holder for 15 years if it makes a difference.

I have a smart pass and had an email a while ago saying Christmas slots were coming but not showing availability to me as yet.

I am very excited after reading a pp that my instant refunds mean I am a superior customer!

I have finally arrived.

Got the email yesterday. Woke with an asthma related coughing fit at 5 a.m. so booked my Dec 23rd slot and checked out by 6.30.
Shopped from last year’s Christmas order.
It let me add peppermint bark! Never managed to order before!

Same. We do so many ocado shops too. And full smart pass.

Yep, Christmas put to bed in this house by mid day.

Booked mine this morning. Lots of choice of slots. I have a mid-week pass and I'm near Bath.

In London, opened and booked today.

I got the email yesterday and very sadly set my alarm to go off at 12.15am so I could book mine! I work all around Christmas though including Christmas Eve so have limited time to arrange it in. Managed to get one for 6pm on 23rd which is the closest I could get to the big day. Have place marked with a couple of very expensive joints of beef!

When they brought mine last year, a lot of stuff was missing. They'd had a problem with some falling out or something. First world problems, I know, but think I'll just go shopping this year.

What wizardry privileges are you on, or is your “ near Bath” more than £10 in an Uber away? Feeling unloved ( but we will order our meat from the butcher)

Hi @Madcats No wizardry privileges that I know of, although I have been using Ocado for years (just on a midweek pass). I'm about 5 miles from Bath on the Wiltshire side.

I didn't get such a good selection of slots last year if that helps you feel better. Everything was delivered though - although there was a substitution on the loo rolls.

I think I'm going to go with a 7am Lidl shop followed by an 8.30 Booths shop again, it's worked well for us in the past.
Might treat us to some Booths Christmas food as it's been a hard year

Your post triggered my memory - I bought a tin of peppermint bark last Christmas and had completely forgotten about it! (I hid it inside a garment bag in my wardrobe so that I wouldn't have to share it).

I have just retrieved it from its hiding place and, whilst it's now 6 months out of date, it thankfully tastes perfectly delicious. I'm even happy to share it because I can add another box to my next Ocado order!

Peppermint bark is a sheet of dark mint chocolate, topped with a sheet of white mint chocolate and topped with crushed mint candy cane. They measure about 6 inches by 3.5 inches and are approximately 6mm thick. You just snap a piece off as you fancy, it's delicious!

Booked my Waitrose Christmas slot before I went to bed earlier today. No email but I had a flyer in the post yesterday saying I could book from today.

Added the veggie Xmas “Sabrina Ghayour Spiced Feta, Chickpea & Vegetable Bastilla

Not got an Ocado slot available yet. Although I haven’t bothered booking a slot with them the past few years so not that fussed to be fair.

I don’t have any pass and I got an email on Monday telling me I could book Christmas slots from Tuesday! I only order from Ocado once a month but it’s a huge shop usually around £300.

Mine is all sorted for Xmas Eve, I might thin it out later though.

I have an anytime pass and I have just had an email to say I can book a Christmas slot tomorrow. I'm in the south west.
