I kind of started today 🫣 but only because I went into Home Bargains and they had some things that would make great stocking fillers, so I bought them to put away for stockings. I’ve also bought one bargain off Vinted. Has anyone else started yet? I’d love to feel less crazy for getting bits now 😅

The Lynx calendar is quite decent, @Watchoutforthedeer also can’t beat a Lego calendar!

Not bought anything yet, but been making lists of things I want to buy for Xmas eve boxes, recipe inspo and started adding money to our Tesco Christmas clubcard scheme.

Another vote for the Lynx advent calendar. It was a hit last year.

We have booked a Christmas evening out ( open topped bus lights) we did this a couple of years back but this year I've convinced Bah Humbug DS to come with us.

If there's anything at the cinema then we can go , probably be November though as they bring them early . Last year DD and I saw Love Actually, I didn't see it at the cinema when it came out as she was only tiny so cinemas were not on my radar ( I'd have fallen asleep)

I need to go through my lists and start looking for Christmas pyjamas and the oxymoron that is a Tasteful Christmas Jumper

DS used to get the lynx calendar but he got so many deodorants with gifts from other people aswell that he didn’t want one last year so I kind of made him a diy one with shower gels, chocolates etc. he loved it and has asked again this year. Dd had a p Louise one last year as a one off as we came into some money. This year she’s asked if I could do one similar to her brothers but with all beauty and skincare. So that’s what I’m doing. On the look out for sale stuff to out in there

I've bought my first present today, but only because I seen it on the off chance 😆😁

It's my daughters birthday next month so I finally pulled out all the stashes of gifts dotted around and realised there's enough to cover Xmas too! So that's her sorted lol 😆 just gotta get get her some chocs and maybe 1 or 2 last minute requests x

I’ve just done that too. Realised I’d gone slightly over the top for her birthday so have now a little stash for Christmas too 😆 her birthday is next month too

You are both very organised with the birthdays and Christmas sorted!

It's also my DS birthday next month and I only have half of his birthday present bought so far.

The hardest is my nephews, who I struggle to buy for. They dont really play with toys and only wear certain types of clothes or shoes. They have birthdays in the latter part of the year so I have to try to figure out 2 presents for each of them.
