Cocktail making kit?

I'm looking for a cocktail making kit and overwhelmed by choice! My BF loves a cocktail but wants to try something new. I thought you used to be able to get sets where you mix your own, but my Googling has so far only brought me pre-mixes. Has anyone had/bought a nice kit that involves some spirit and mixer and maybe garnishes? I'd be extra pleased to hear about any smaller/UK based businesses (will have to cross fingers about Christmas delivery)...

I found these on amazon, but they're tailored to a particular cocktail. TBH I'd put one together with a couple of bases, some other tastes like cointreau, coffee liqueur, baileys and then some mixers.

I'd buy a cocktail shaker, a 50ml/25ml spirits measure, a bottle of rum, a bottle of sugar syrup, a cocktails recipe book and a lime*. That's 6 separate presents (more exciting for him to unwrap than a single cocktail kit) and he can start making Daiquiris straight away!

*maybe a few limes if you really want to go for it.

Thanks everyone - never heard of yumbles, looks like a great site so my prayers have been answered! I need something already in a kit as will be sending it direct, although I do like the idea of tailoring my own. Maybe next year if results this year are good
