I'm wondering what causal clothes to buy for my DD 13. I thought of white fox but apparently this is so 2024 according to another thread. What have you guys bought? Hollister? I'm stumped and clearly out of touch with current fashion hypes. Links to items would be appreciated thanks.

Yes Hollister is popular with my 133 year old DD. Also Brandy Melville and Subdued.

Thanks so much. I've never heard of Brandy Melville or Subdued. Is there any items in particular that are on trend with those brands? Also, what would you buy from hollister?

Iets Frans joggers from urban outfitters.

Really, you can go too far wrong with whatever Urban Outfitters are pushing/stocking because they the brands which are current and then they stop when they fall out of style.

My dd15 has liked Hollister since age 13 and but only selectively.

She likes her basic Levi T shirts too, and has some GymShark leggings that fit like a glove (dd is tall and waif thin so this is rare).

A big warm scarf (instead of a coat) is the thing to wear here at the moment! I think it is simply because it is so much easier to stash than a big puffer.

My dd refuses to shop in Primark on ethical grounds - her friends all veto any purchases because they believe it’s polluting crap made by slaves. Ditto Shein or Temi.

A few high quality, highly ethical pieces are worn over and over, which is really rather gratifying.

Thanks all. Urban outfitters is a great tip. I used to love it in there back in the day. I had no idea current teens would use the place. I'll take a look at Gym shark thanks as my daughter is also tall and waif thin, I've taken to buying her women's size 4 in everything. I could fit two of her in some of the age 13-14 stuff out there. I've had a look at Hollister online it does seem a bit hit and miss, I think I might pop to the actual shop. I've finally found some jeans she likes the style of in H and M, I'll link them and the top I bought it H and M she seems to love. I gave up Primark years ago on mental health grounds as my anxiety goes through the roof when I'm in there, hate the place.

My daughter likes the simple short sleeved T-shirts they sell. Also shorts to wear as pjs x

Hollister do nice jumpers too which always go down well. Zip up navy hoodie she recently bought too.
