Hi, really hoping someone will have an idea. My DD (aged 8 but with Sen and emotionally younger) has asked Father Christmas for a toy blood sugar monitor/glucometer. I had already bought the Our Generation diabetes set but it’s tiny and the number doesn’t change. Some on Etsy but in America and won’t make it and they have just the sticker anyway. I think she wants one that will either generate a number or turn red/blue/green for high/low/normal. I’m pretty sure what she wants doesn’t exist so trying to think if there is any other similar looking device that could do this? The best I can come up with is a calculator that she can put a number in herself. Has anyone got any better ideas? I really don’t want her to be disappointed. Thank you

Would something like an oximeter work, she can stick it on her finger and the numbers will go up and down.

I couldn’t find one that changes number - but on Etsy if you message them Soemtimes they can make sure they get it to you quicker - they’ve done that for me before with very specific requests so worth and ask!
