Ds never asks for a thing same as when he was a child he just was never one of those kids that asked for anything..unlike my others!🤣

I've bought him pyjamas , Tom Ford body spray ( he has loads of aftershave's hence why I just bought a spray) Tommy Hilfiger wallet, ck socks and boxers
I want to get more stuff but he is a nightmare to pick anything just says I don't need anything mum!
He is into rappers and has been to a few concerts over the last two years I've no idea who the rappers are! He has a few T-shirts rappers material?! What are you getting your young adult sons?

Mine would love all of that. He is going travelling and asked for a specific bag so it was easy this year. Stocking will be socks, boxers, skin stuff and some playing cards.

Mine plays American football and has asked for specific sporting items. Without this we wouldn't have a clue.

could you suggest that you’d like to get him some new trainers/a coat or something and can he find something and send you a link? It might then focus him on to thinking “oh no I don’t want trainers but I could do with a xyz,”? I do this with dd2 sometimes and it’s quite helpful at times!

Probably get him a Korean or Japanese snack box, F1 top trumps, Beer from local brewing. Its all a bit dull tbh. Maybe a screaming goat that I've seen on Amazon.

That's what I say it's like getting blood from a stone 🤣 believe me I've been asking ds since Halloween to send me links for new trainers, a coat or whatever..he says he'll have a look and then tells me when I ask he doesn't see anything he likes ffs 🤦🏼‍♀️
And now here we are and I'm still asking him so I've picked the few bits I mentioned but he'll have little in comparison to the others and as much as I know he's not bothered about presents I am!!
Everything I suggest is a no ..what does it take grrrrrrrrr

Aftershave he chose. Chocs. Socks. A huge candle (he likes them!). Car air freshener. Laptop screen wipes. Bottle of booze. Nice shower gel. Scratch cards. Some money. Difficult when he’s earning and buys what he wants for himself. DS2 is 20 and wants absolutely nothing!

Aw my son is the same age OP and he’s the same. Never asks for anything. Even when he was a child.

Its been a tricky year as I normally get him clothes but he’s asked me not to do this as he has loads (he does, I still wash them 😭). I’m not much help as I ended up getting him things you say your son doesn’t need or you have them already, a very expensive aftershave, boxers, socks and some thermals (he works outside). In his stocking I got him a car air freshener, chocolates, a hat, some playing cards, a phone case etc.

I sent link after link for trainers. I know he needs them. I know he’s particular.

he has something to open.

Mine has a book about movie soundtracks, a 'pub in a box' from a local brewery (drinks, coasters, pork scratchings and pub quiz sheet), a band t-shirt, and coffee machine for him and gf when they move into their own place in the new year.

My son is 22. He’s getting: pjs, phone battery bank in his favourite colour, toothbrush/key ring football team brand, t-shirt with football payers on it (very nice graphic), ‘manly’ scented handmade soaps and deodorant, a crochet throw (made by me), and his main present: cash.
