Our 13 year old elf has been fatally wounded tonight! ( babysitter-candle- more serious disaster averted) It was bought from card party years ago and has my little elf .co.uk on the tag but the website no longer exists. Does anyone have a replacement or a connection/contact where we could find a replacement?
Have searched eBay and the internet to no avail . It was no1 child elf ego is now 13 but no4 is only 5 and is beside himself about the injury. Can anyone help?

I think if you put a picture up, someone might be able to advise?

Sorry yeezpicture attached. Its grainy. There's a Facebook page but it shuts 6yrs ago.
I feel so guilty I went out to my Xmas party and left babysitter in charge. A little scented candle and overexcited juds and boom an injured elf.
13years and I kept it live.
Really hoping someone can help

For this year I would bandage him !
My sons Teddy Bear ( DS is 26 , bear is 4 months older than DS) is still battling a dislocated leg , ( actually the leg came right off ) , my repairs are not good but I stitched it on and he still wears a bandage !

Consider though , you got off lightly with a lit candle and DC , make Elf the patient after his injury . Glad it wasn't worse !

TheAutumnCrow · 06/12/2025 02:06

I’d put an eye patch on him, probably make him up a little hospital bed, seeing as your five year old is so into it.

More importantly though, babysitters and candles don’t mix Confused

ShaunaOfTheDead · 06/12/2025 06:00

once elf is sufficiently rested, I’d make him a pirate costume.
I don’t believe things should be replaced, after all if the elf was ‘real’ he would continue to be cherished and looked after.

And as a bonus he could retire from elf duty.

Toddlerteaplease · 06/12/2025 06:44

As a PP said, put a bandage on him
and out him in bed for the rest of Advent.

Thanks yes I've bandaged him up. Hopefully I'll find a replacement before next year!
Thank you for the links

I’d get something like this and say that the Elf’s cousin had come to look after him.

Sorry, this.

Our 13 year old elf has been fatally wounded tonight

I am so totally reporting you to Father Christmas , you are going to force a dead Elf to work over Christmas !?
Honestly , patching him up with a couple of Elastoplasts and doing some weirdy "Weekend At Bernies" thing from now till the 24th.

Will he turn into a Zombie Elf ?
Or will your next event be a Decent Elf Send-Off ( as he deserves after 13 years of slogging his guts out?)

There is so, so much wrong with this scenario.

Xmas Wink
