Presents for runners

My DS 21 has got into running and planning to do a Marathon in spring. His main present is a pair of running shoes. Other than that all I have is some Isotonic gels. We won’t spend a lot more (the shoes were not cheap) but any ideas for stocking fillers/ £20/ 10 and under presents?

Nice quality running socks! Personally I like crew socks as they don't slip as much and keep my ankles toasty for winter training. I've got a few pairs from a brand called Feetures, but also good quality hiking socks (not extra thick boot socks) could fit the bill.

Vimto electrolyte tablets - Holland and Barratt and Sainsbury's sell them. They're my faves so far!

A good quality running torch or a beanie hat with inbuilt torch - good for training in the dark

Not glamorous, but good socks are a must!
Other options for winter running - cap, gloves, safety light.

Oh - a lightweight buff as well! There is a brand literally called "buff" but much less expensive options are available!

A running magazine? A photo book of some of the runs he’s been on?

thanks, we are Manchester so will check out Vimto electrolytes although already bought a different brand. What is a buff? Also love the idea of some kind of lights for running in the dark but any links appreciated

I've bought my husband a couple of bits from a brand called Sealskinz in previous years. They do waterproof and windproof hats, gloves and socks etc for sports and he likes the windproof gloves and one year I bought him a running hat with light in it. I buy Hilly running socks as stocking fillers. There is this little stick of balm called Snowfire he likes that would be a good little stocking filler, again it's for cold weather to protect against chapping and wind. Last year I got him What I Talk About When I Talk About Running, a memoir by Haruki Murakami about his love of long distance running, which he enjoyed.

I'm intrigued as to what a buff is as well.
DH runs I got him socks
