Help finding a Christmas book

My almost 3yo dd has only asked for one thing from FC consistently and I’m hoping you can help me find it.
It needs to be a big (physically big) book with Father Christmas, reindeer and a snowman in.
I’ve scoured the web, using ‘big/ jumbo/ oversized/ large’ and have physically been into the works, Waterstones, whatever WHSmiths is called now, supermarkets, B&M etc but can’t find anything big enough.
I’ve asked dd if she’s seen one whilst we’ve been shopping and she says not. I’ve asked her to describe how big and she says “big like a dinosaur” 🙃 I think just bigger than a normal paperback children’s book would be fine though.
Has anyone seen or got a Christmassy book that’s BIG, that you can let me know the title etc of? Thanks in advance!

Father Christmas by Raymond Briggs is usually a big size book (like the size of an annual).
Is that what you mean or is it a specific title you're looking for.

Fiddledeedeeee · 03/12/2025 22:17

No, no specific title. I think it’s something she’s dreamed up herself.
Thanks for the suggestion. We have a mini version of that book so not sure it would fit the bill.

the You Choose series are fantastic books, absolute favourites for my DC, and this one is a large format picture book;

Is it something at her nursery? Can you pop in and ask to see it?

I’m thinking maybe something like this but can’t find it stocked anywhere

Maybe you could buy one of the titles from my PP link and either add in the characters ( cut from another book) to introduce the story inside the cover e.g.Father Christmas likes to read this story to his reindeer and a snowman, or laminate some characters to add into pages to “ find”
As PP says You Choose series are great and relatively big.

Or even better, find your local children's bookshop on google and ask them - if they are in another town, they might well be willing to take an order and post it out to you.

Marcipix · 03/12/2025 22:46

I would recommend the You Choose Christmas book.

However I guess this big book is something they have at her nursery. It would be worth asking the staff.

Thinking of size has she maybe seen an advent calendar book set out and about like this as they’re quite large?

This one from John Lewis is 29cm x 22cm, so bigger than a normal paperback, the Amazon one is described as oversized but no dimensions
