Starter eye make up?

My 15yr has started to play with make up. Only eye make up. She is trying to do eyeliner/cat eye type stuff. Kind of light goth/emo style.

Any suggestions of some nice eyeliner stuff? Is there anything to help her master it other than practice?

She's not into brands and couldn't care less if it was from pound shop or Harrods. I doubt she'd even know tbh.

I have very hooded eyes so have only ever used mascara and dont even know where to start.

My dd does this, emo cat eyes.

She uses an eyeliner that’s like a felt tip pen. NYX it is. Also, tiny tin of Vaseline and cotton buds for tidying up any mistakes.

Is it easy to use?

Years ago I bought a cheap double ended eyeliner that has a wing stamp on one end. I don’t use that end but the eyeliner pen was so good (doesn’t budge and doesn’t bend or slip on applying) that I’ve replaced it multiple times. She might enjoy the stamp end too. Randomly it’s off eBay here

I think there are also stencils you can use to do a wing too.

Maybe an eyelid primer to make everything stay on?
