Packaging Slip Ups- Anyone Else?

Lighthearted as we think it’s funny. Has anyone else ordered a gift (NOT been given the opportunity to select “it’s a gift” at checkout) and had the gift ruined by the packaging?

Ive experienced it twice in 24 hours.
Mum ordered my dad a gardeners kneeler stool thing from Amazon. Turned up at their house yesterday with a habit pic of the item on the box. Dad collected the item from the post man 🤣

I ordered my boyfriend a Traitors robe-style dressing gown from Matalan. A box arrived today from a company called Vanilla Underground. Boyfriend brought it in the kitchen and I was like “Vanilla Underground? What’s that?” He took a closer look, laughed, handed it to me and said he thinks he wasn’t meant to see it. In massive letters on the back it said “men’s Traitor bath robe.” bloody hell 🤣🤣

Yes, I've had more and more things arrive recently in just their packaging with a label slapped on. It's very annoying this time of year!

As one of her main gifts, I ordered my DP a trading card deck and a card album. They arrived at the same time, and were picked up by my DP at the door. The card deck had a line on the label saying exactly what it was and the album just came in a transparent bag 😐Thankfully, the writing was on the side of the label so I don't think she read it, and the album I passed off as for storing my artwork. So, unless she's got a better poker face than I think she has, I think I got away with it?

It drives me mad! Amazon are proudly proclaiming that they’re reducing packaging, but that’s not much use when the address label is stuck on the actual cardboard box and the delivery driver leaves the item on the front door step in the rain. I’ve returned three or four items to Amazon recently and then ordered them elsewhere.

last time I bought dog food from Amazon, there was no packaging they had just slapped a label on the bag! As it is a paper bag bit stupid as it could have fallen apart if it had got wet or burst open in the van
