New tree decorations

Anybody interested in sharing any new tree decs that you’ve bought this year or favourites from years gone by . We found a pack of lovely felt robins in a NT shop yesterday , they come in a pack of 5 with different scarf/ hat combos

I got the felt acorns from the NT sadly we don’t have a themed tree I love getting the old favourites out each year.

@purser25 we don’t have a themed tree and we add decorations every year , the oldest is an icicle type from the 1960s that used to be on our tree when I was a child . We have 4 trees this year of various types of, one only has Swarovski crystal Christmas ornaments on , one has medium sized balls , the kitchen tree has miniature baubles and the lounge tree has everything else .

We get a few new decorations each year. We try to bring some back when we go on holiday, related to the places we've visited and add others which take our fancy, usually quirky ones related to something we enjoy. The last few years have been a great time for acquiring Harry Potter decorations, which seem to pop up everywhere so we've been taking advantage of that!
We very much don't go for a theme when decorating for Christmas and are absolutely not minimalist, the more the merrier I say and don't ration the tinsel! I don't want my Christmas decorations tasteful or understated!
While we do add new decorations each year, we always bring out our old favourites from years gone by, some of which date from my childhood, because they bring back lovely happy family Christmas memories and Christmas is a time for nostalgia after all.
Due to our ever expanding collection we have to have two Christmas trees to fit them.
This year is particularly special as it is the first Christmas since our wonderful baby was born! I have just bought a very sweet 'baby's first Christmas' bauble today as well as one with her name on it. I also bought two new Harry Potter baubles because they were cheap and one of them was a Luna Lovegood one, plus you can never have too many HP decorations!
We plan to let our daughter pick out a new decoration herself each year but, until she's old enough to do that, I thought I'd choose some for her!
We have had to get very creative about tree placement this year as she is extremely active, on the verge of walking and would have the trees over in a second if she could reach them! I've put a little one in her room, specially decorated for her, on top of the drawers where she can't possibly reach it and our big tree is in the hallway where she isn't allowed.
So excited about our first Christmas as a family!

Bought from Borderbear Creations a set of BT decorations for my all seasons ( changed each season) garland.

My decs are all still in their box, will go up in a fortnight, our tree has no theme whatsoever but every year we add a decoration or two. Haven’t found anything this year but will look when I’m at the Christmas tree farm and no doubt come back home with something jazzy 😂

Some new glittery/frosty decorations from m&s. The letter is initial for DDs name.

Only just put ours up. Haven't preened it yet, or put on any decs.
