My DD turns 10 just before Christmas. She loves her bike and scooter, she loves the colour green and adores craft projects and baking. She loves games, like monopoly (we have loads of variations), blockus and cluedo.

Ive asked her what she would like, but so far the only thing is a 3D pen, which I’ve got. I’ve also bought her a couple Mini Verse kitchen balls, cranium and kanoodle.

Any other ideas??

Does she have a games console?
Music player / speaker?
Lego?
Musical instrument, piano, keyboard, guitar?

I’ve got my daughter a rainbow bagel baking kit from Etsy, that looks fun!

If she likes crafting and Mini Verse, try Djeco Mi House

Reverse tie dye kit
Ice cream machine
Instax camera

Is she due to go to Secondary in 2026? Does she ned a laptop or anything for that as a big present?

If not: waffle maker, books, sweets, bracelet making kit.

No ideas, but thank you for post. I've just bought same as you said for my granddaughters as I had no ideas at all 🥰

Hickorydickorydock74 · 28/11/2025 08:13

Thanks all! To answer some questions; she has an iPad and iPad pen, but I’d prefer her to spend less time on it. I was thinking VR headset, but again, I don’t want her spending more time on tech.

Ive asked my family to get her a mini pottery studio set, and my sister is getting her a little camera that you can transfer photos to your iPad.

We got her an ice cream maker last Christmas, which I think she used a couple of times 🤦🏻‍♀️

Last year, she was big into slime but that obsession is over now (thankfully for my carpets!).

I will have a think about Lego, as although it’s not something shes ever really asked for, she does like building / making and crafting.

thank you for the ideas 💐

I was thinking about the glitter bracelets making kit, but wasnt sure if it was too “young”? She does have makeup, but shes not overly into it and prefers putting it on like Halloween makeup 😂

Ive just bought her this which looks cool

I don’t know how daredevil she is on the bike and scooter but do you have a BMX or skatepark type nearby? I got my nephews a scooter lesson for the one near them (the videos were terrifying!!)

Hickorydickorydock74 · 28/11/2025 08:30

@MiddleAgedDread haha! Yes, she definitely is a wild child! Shes driven go karts at 60mph (thanks to her dad and older brother), shes been riding a scooter since she could stand and gets straight back up if she takes a tumble 😂 I’ll have a look at a scooter lesson - she loves anything with a thrill 😂

Roller blades, are they still a thing?
Ramp

Stompythedinosaur · 28/11/2025 14:45

My dd loved a rock tumbler at that age, and I remember a skateboard ramp being popular too! Warning, the rock tumbler does make an irritating noise!
