What do I actually want for Christmas?!

I have no idea what I want for Christmas. Clothing I want I will buy for myself. Currently trying to lose weight so don’t want any “big” items and I prefer my own choices and style.
DH is quite particular/choosy with things we buy for the house, I love kitch and lots of mismatched things and he’s very much a minimalist! We need new carpets but that’s not exactly a Christmas present,
Have plenty of coats, scarves, boots and shoes and bags etc. Lots of books from previous birthdays/Xmas I haven’t read yet. Have various memberships for places to visit such as zoo, National Trust etc with DS 3.
What are you all putting on your Christmas lists when you have everything you feel you need right now?

I have wanted a 4 or 5 litre stainless steel sauce pan. If not so close to Christmas I'd buy it myself.
(Confession-I saw amazon deliver it to the house, the name was on the box 😀)
Nothing else I want really. I do have a small list for my secret Santa exchange. Red oven mitts, chefs apron, electric salt and pepper grinders, lavender bar soap from local farm.

I've asked for a special plant for the garden, a Moroccan cookery book, merino wool gloves and a windproof umbrella. DC always ask me what I want so I start compiling a list in the autumn. They know I always love really good, very dark (preferably 100%) chocolate and jigsaws.

I’ve just ordered the Himeji castle and notebook to get the GWP hot chocolate stand . Used my points to reduce the cost . Happy Christmas to me from the dogs . I’d also like a book by Hasui Kawase and some Lindt chocolate .

I always ask for perfume as I like wearing different scents.
This year I’ve also asked Santa for an electric blanket, running gear, skincare & posh chocolates.

My favourite things which have made a real difference to my life over the past year (even if only because the bring my pleasure)

Emu boots (like Uggs but wider)
Milk frother (we already have a bean to cup coffee maker)
My robo mop & hoover
My electric blanket (dual control so it just does my side of the bed & not DH’s)
Diptyqe candles.
Being able to buy bulbs & bedding plants… so perhaps a garden voucher
Being able to buy books for
my Kindle … so perhaps an Amazon voucher
Getting my nails done
My gym membership
My walking boots
Being able to go for coffee with friends … so perhaps a voucher for Costa or somewhere
Netflix & Apple TV subscriptions

We’re fortunate in having been quite comfortable financially but are beginning to have to look at where we spend our money and it has occurred to me how much I spend a week on little things (a couple of coffees with a friend, a new book for my Kindle) and per month (gym, Netflix, popping to the garden centre, getting my nails done) on things which are luxuries but which I’d really miss if I stopped being able to do them. Someone gave me a £10 Costa voucher recently as a “thank you” and those coffees felt like such a treat!
