Hey all, seen the Minecraft blocks on TikTok, I believe also on Temu, and thinking of getting them for my six year old. Can’t seem to find any reviews which are not commission based. Has anyone purchased them?

We had them off Amazon. Both our DS love them! They've asked for more on their Christmas list this year, along with the actual Minecraft figures. They're 7 & 4.
The bloody things turn up all over the house though 😂

I got them.from amazon too but have now found the exact same ones on shein & temu for less than half the price. My DD4 loves them and I got her some princess castle themed ones for christmas.

I’ve had them from SHEIN and Amazon. The kids love them :) there are two different sizes though so just make sure you get the same size if you buy more than one set

That’s good to hear. I didn’t know if they were a gimmick.

Dont suppose you have purchased the 3d pen which is also being advertised?

Minecraft blocks and 3d pen were both big hits last Xmas. Still get played with regularly. 3d pen we went with a branded one though, not a temu. I think it was the 3doodler.

They are great. They have been the most successful present that my son got last year - played with all year. Asked for more for his birthday. They are so simple that grandparents etc. have also enjoyed playing with them with him.

Just a small warning though - don't get the cheapest ones you can find.

They work by having small square magnets in each corner, but those magnets differ in size. We had some 'clear plastic' from different companies that made it very obvious. The cheaper ones use tiny magnets that just about hold the blocks together... whereas the more reasonably priced ones use much bigger magnets that give a good solid connection. The cheap ones make building very frustrating.

Can you recommend what blocks to get?

I’ve not purchased any of these yet, but have been looking. One thing to check is how many blocks you actually get because most don’t include the amount that’s pictured.
