If you’ve had a prelit tree for a few years…

Where is it from? We had an M&S one a few years back & the lights broke the second year so half the tree lit up and the other half didn’t! Ended up binning it.
We’ve had real trees since but I’d like an artificial one again. Please recommend any you have that are still going strong!

My Balsam Hill pre-lit will be on its seventh year this year. Still looks new.

Ours is John Lewis and the lights did stop working after a few years. I think it could be fixed but we just ignore the built in lights and put on additional ones, which do tend to vary. It's irritating in a way because I bought it hoping the lights-faff would be a thing of the past, but no. But it's also a blessing as I realise I do like having a different look each year. I have coloured sets and one that is three shades of gold which I might use this year. But who knows

The three shades of gold sounds just my thing. Can you remember where (and when) you got them?

Thanks again all.
Balsam Hill have started their Black Friday sale today so I’ve managed to get a 6ft prelit Canadian blue spruce for £175!

I'll be shockingly honest with you @sueelleker - I have so many light sets going back so many years I really struggle to remember where I got them from. I tend to keep light sets in those Tesco extra large ziplock bags rather than trying to get them back into the original tiny box (does anyone manage that?!) I'll get up into the loft and check them out and see if there's any enlightening information with them. It's not terribly likely so when I'm doing my annual pilgrimage of Christmas displays in garden centres (fab places for good Christmas stuff imo) and the floristry wholesalers, I'll keep an eye out for them and let you know if I see any more that fit the bill.

Has anyone used ChristmasTreeWorld?

Yes I've had two for a few years and bought one for this year in the summer sale 😂. Love them! (All prelit)

We bought an M&S one last year, so now I am scared!

Our b&q one lasted about 15 years.
We now have one from Asda, which was chosen for size (3’ and not too bushy) rather than anything else. Pretty sure it was less than £20 and its about to do it’s 4th year.
