I posted this elsewhere but I can’t find it!
Im looking for freezable meals I can cook in advance for feeding a household full of people for two weeks! I’m panicking!

I have no festive suggestions (I'll be watching for ideas!), but I found your thread for you www.mumsnet.com/talk/_chat/5445018-batch-cooking-for-xmas?utm_campaign=thread&utm_medium=share

Look up the Batch Lady, she has lots of suggestions for getting ahead. And a new christmas book i think.

Chilli, curry, dahl, bolognaise, lasagne, casseroles, sauces and soups spring to mind.

I would work backwards from a meal plan, even if it’s only a loose one and then cook what you need.

Lasagne - it freezes really well , I use a Lock&Lock tub then decant it into an overproof dish to cook
Shepherds Pie -we're vegetarian so use Linda McCartney mince . If I;m freezing it I don;t cook the vegetables as much or I add them later .

The week between Christmas and New Year you want something a bit plainer but still a meal .
