Space was very limited for us so I bought my DS a Marshall micro amp, it's not bad at all for a 1W amp. It can be battery powered for portability or you can plug it into the mains. It also has the all-important headphone socket!

The other one I looked at, which I didn't try out but was recommended by friends, was the Orange Crush mini - it's a bit more expensive, larger and more powerful at 3W. Also battery or mains operated

Orange as mentioned above are very good, my partner has orange amps for his electric guitars. I'd second their recommendation x

Another vote for Orange from guitar playing DS1!

Dh has the Orange amp mentioned above, he says it’s great for a small amp, almost as good as his massive Marshall stack that, as well as taking up way too much space in our bedroom, cost a lot more

Orange minis are excellent and will last forever. Really good sound. All four guitarists in the family use them.
