bondsy · 12/11/2025 12:42

I am responsible for creating a hot chocolate station at the family Xmas get together.

i am wondering if anybody has seen any good add ons lately? for example

chocolate spoons
xmas sprinkles
xmas marshmallows
any sauces to drizzle

im thinking maybe places like B&M might be best

B&M have got Christmas-themed takeaway cups including the plastic lids, like what you’d get in Costa etc, I think they’re 8 for £2

We buy cheap candy canes and bash them up in a freezer bag with a rolling pin to make peppermint and strawberry shards to sprinkle.

I sometimes do the same with Crunchie bars, and Biscoff biscuits but I’d do those fresh each time or they lose their crunch.

This is such a good idea and could be done with quite a few things like different biscuits too

i have a coffee kiosk and do loads of hot chocolates. I use Cadbury’s hot choc, stirred into an inch of boiling water and then topped off with steamed milk. Squirty cream on top then add either chocolate dust or flakes or festive sprinkles (you’ll find them in the baking aisle of the supermarket). You’ll find coffee syrups on eBay that work well in hot choc too. My top sellers are - gingerbread syrup (add squirty cream and a couple of mini gingerbread men on top). Mint syrup - add squirty cream and either mint aero bubbles or crushed candy cane. Orange syrup - add squirty cream and mini choc orange slices. Caramel syrup - add squirty cream and broken Biscoff biscuits. Malteaser reindeer look good too, as do Milky Way chocolate stars. Oreo go down well too, and Bueno with hazelnut syrup.

Fab ideas.. thank you. I bet the Biscoff is lovely

Supermarkets have little spray bottles of edible glitter in the baking section so you can gild your squirty cream.
