Help! Charity gift idea for 12 year old boy

I’ve signed up to buy a gift for a boy aged 12, but I don’t know anything about him. The budget is £5–£15, and the gift can’t be edible or a voucher.

I need to hand it in tomorrow, but I live near a city centre, so I have access to most of the main shops (e.g. Argos, Smyths, The Works, Primark, etc.).

Does anyone have any suggestions for something that would suit? I’d really appreciate some ideas - thank you! 🙏

Hat scarf gloves
or
Stationery - Pad, pens, colours
or
Slippers
or
Oodie (Hooded blanket Dunelm / Matalan)
or
White Nike socks
or
Pajamas
or
Uno / game

Oh and maybe a packet of sweets

Nike socks from sports direct

Little Bluetooth speakers can be any price from £5 and are great for teens. Otherwise a Nike t shirt or north face t shirt (tk maxx shouldn’t blow the budget) but I’ll stick with little Bluetooth speaker - Argos have a couple for £10

He might not have a phone to use with speakers.

This is a good list but I would get something like Lego instead of Uno because you don't know if he has anyone in his life willing to play a game like Uno with him.

Lego is a good call.

Definitely not anything that assumes he has access to technology/phones etc and I'd avoid all clothing since this is supposed to be a christmas gift.

I'd get Lego, a Pack of cards and Chocolate

Edit - just seen no chocolate sorry

Lynx set

Anything fidgety but more grown up?

Pokemon cards

Frixion erasable pens and a notebook. You could add a small card game, top trumps or uno etc. I think a card game is fine, because even if he doesn’t have any siblings and parents won’t play, it’s easy to bring into school to play with a friend and on coach for school trips etc. Or a small Lego technic set. I wouldn’t get a small Lego set as the smaller ones in your budget are geared towards younger children.

Or the white Nike socks. But I’d try to avoid clothes as he could be very small or very large. Socks are less of a gamble but I’d still have that in the back of my mind!

A book like a fun facts/weird stories/guiness book of records type thing.

The white Nike socks is a good idea also!
