I know baileys is popular and mulled wine.
I dont normally drink alcohol but would like to try something this year. What do you like? And any nice non alcoholic options?

This but I leave out the basil usually as can’t be arsed. www.goodhousekeeping.com/uk/food/recipes/a536565/orange-basil-sparkler-cocktail-recipe/

My mam makes hot buttered rum that is gloriously festive but absolutely lethal.

I also love a snowball, I only ever have them at Christmas and they make me feel all warm and fuzzy because it's the first drink I was allowed to sip and reminds me of my great nan

A cranberry whiskey sour is a slightly festive twist on a classic. Cranberry margaritas are also nice.

Any sort of chocolate orange cocktail I think, I'm sure there's recipes out there!

I also love a Christmas pudding stout if you're more into beers, and had a winter berries sour by Vault City recently they was gorgeous and festive.

And honestly anything with prosecco in it. My FIL made us cocktails with prosecco, something red that might've been pomegranate or cranberry, and rosemary. It was fresh and herby and lovely, went really well with a roast.

I'm lurking for non alcohol ones - I don't drink.
I had a 'mocktail' once that had an almond and raspberry syrup , bit like a Bakewell tart . Really sweet though.

Cafe Brulot or Eggnog

Try Monin strawberry fruit puree with Robertsons Lime and Mint Cordial topped up with Soda Water. https://www.nextdaycoffee.co.uk/monin-fruit-puree-strawberry-1-litre-1645?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21020883001&gclid=CjwKCAiAzrbIBhA3EiwAUBaUdfWSXwV76co0xq1ZxD1G8dCizqnYCM64XRTKxNRhKpaaKufxdoggThoCqrEQAvD_BwE

A snowball is my only nod to Christmas, drinkswise!

When I was a kid I loved snowballs and Cinzano and lemonade.
In separate glasses of course, not mixed!

However, if you noticed the words “when I was a kid” you’ll probably understand why it’s been many years since I drank alcohol. Still really fancy a Cinzano though.

Snowballs. They are basically alcoholic custard.

I love the smell of mulled wine more than the taste.

I don’t really drink, but anything sparkly with a festive fruit usually goes down well.

I love a spiced rum and ginger beer. Tastes wintery and Christmassy to me!
