Teen boy fun stocking filler

My 15 year old basically wants money of course, but I don't want him to have nothing to open on the day!
We are getting him a fairly expensive adult lego set so just looking for something cheap and fun but not sure what...
I'm going to get some body spray and and sweets but it was so much easier when they were younger and were overjoyed with stickers and pokemon cards 😂
Any good suggestions or teen gifts that have gone down well in the past?

Tesco usually do those mammoth tubes of Jaffa Cakes.
Anything Lynx.
Socks relating to a hobby.
Mug from favourite football/rugby/sports team.
Tickets to a match for said sports team. Or a program subscription if you are to faraway to attend.
Driving experience.
Guinness Book of Records.
Waffle maker.
If he likes Greggs, I remember they did Christmas gifts last year. Not seen any ads this year, so might not be a thing. I bet there will be something on Amazon!
Heinz do personalised ketchup or mayo bottles. Possibly other things too!

Meredithspants · 03/11/2025 23:46

Idstillratherbepaddleboarding · 09/11/2025 08:36

Last year one of those little thermal printers went down a storm. DS (now 16) used his loads in his GCSE revision, he uses it to print messages to stick to the envelopes of cards, to print little photograph stickers of him and his girlfriend (only black and white), to label his 6th form books, Erm I can’t think of what else he uses it for but he does use it a lot!

Restlessinthenorth · 09/11/2025 08:47

Things I've had that have gone down well and not been mentioned yet, that are small enough to fit in stockings

Spot/blemish patches
Football pump
Jibbitz for favourite sports team (this is the name for the things they stick in holes on crocs)
Pin badges for favourite football team (loads of good ones on eBay)
Portable charger
Key ring that holds a tenner so can attach to pants when going out on bikes
Hair brush (there seems to be a crazy amongst boys for these right now)
Shin pads
Mini aftershaves (either collect samples from counters or you can buy them cheaply on vinted)

I'm sure I have others that I'll share when they come to me. I bloody love doing stockings but it gets harder each year as I run out of ideas!

Restlessinthenorth · 09/11/2025 08:49

Oh actually, just thought of a hit from last year. I got personalised bottles of Heinz ketchup which the teens loved!

MigGirl · 09/11/2025 09:02

Some of these are great ideas, I have 2 teens to buy for this Christmas.

JennyWrenSeven · 29/11/2025 13:59

Was going to start a thread about stocking fillers.

DS (19) finished college this year and has just started a full time job.

He’ll be getting money from us this year but I want to buy him bits to open.

Soft PJ bottoms always go down well, so these are definitely on the list but I’m struggling with what else!

Will get the usual chocolate, maybe more boxers (although I bought him some for his birthday in September).

Any more suggestions greatly appreciated!

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 29/11/2025 18:26

DS (17) doesn’t really care about clothes. He’ll wear what he’s got, so he always gets a refresh of socks (Nike), boxers (Adidas) and T shirts (assorted) and probably a branded hoody. Fun stuff - guitar strings, strange japanese and korean snacks, american candy, Viz.

pinotnow · 29/11/2025 19:19

I always get socks linked to their latest interest - my ds (16) has said there's not a lot he wants this year other than sweets and 'the thrilling themed socks'.

StrictlyHere · 29/11/2025 19:23

Can anyone recommend any “cool” or fun sweets? That are just a bit different?

FortyFacedFuckers · 29/11/2025 19:47

Some good ideas on here, I am getting mine some smart bulbs so he can put his bedroom light off from bed 🤣 I am also getting him a set of those Keyring attachments that flash & beeb when the little controller is pressed as he is always misplacing his keys.

FortyFacedFuckers · 29/11/2025 19:50

seen the personalised Heinz being mentioned but you can also get the personalised Nutella jars
