Gift for 5-6 year old girl (£30 ish)

Buying for a 5 soon to be 6 year old girl. Don't know much about her interests as it's my husband's friend's daughter. But I do know her mum is pretty against plastic and more into educational games books etc trying to find something that will not totally go against this but that will still feel like a fun gift to the little girl. A tough ask! Any ideas?

DD (6 last month) and her friends are all about Squishalongs, Squishmallows, crafts and bracelet making. Playmobil. Sylvanians. They also really like games like Connect 4, Hungry Hippos, Pop Up Pirates. Isadora Moon books seem popular with that age (as do Rainbow Magoc fairy ones, but I wouldn't start down that route).

The Galt kits are usually a good call- they do craft focused ones as well as science ones. Anything from Smiggle too- our local branch is always full of girls that age, and most of them seem to have Smiggle backpacks and stationary.

Educational is fine, but dd loved the hatchimal pufficorn last year and it's only £20 now, it is very clever how it hatches.
