Low cost gift for an 10 year old boy

A friend and I usually buy a small (£5-10) gift for each others children.
Can anyone suggest something for a 10 year old boy? They are not into football, Fortnite, Roblox, branded items, toiletries. Thanks

A good torch. Kids love torches - reading under blankets, bug hunting in the evening, shadows on the wall. I used to include a torch in Christmas stockings for mine and friends kids, always went down well. Wind up torches give additional fun, or this -

Wicked Uncle has some great ideas for kids, with a few things under £10. My sons (at a similar age) like yo-yos, rubix cubes, little hand held microscopes, card games (Taco cat goat cheese pizza is a favourite) dominoes, super bouncy balls, science experiments, art pads and pens, catapults etc
