so last year we got one from M&S and my DH loved it.
This year we are at PIL for Christmas, FIL won't like the stuffing and I always leave them with a leftoversturkey and ham pie in the freezer anyway, so that would be a waste of £60 (we can't bring leftovers home)
I thought I might make one for DH for the new year - presumably it
s just a turkey and ham pie with lumps of fairly firm stuffing mixed in? I didn't eat it because I'm pescetarian and didn't look at it too closely, so could anyone who has ever actually eaten or made one tell me a bit more about the stuffing bits? I am wondering if it would be better cooked as balls or fried in cubes to stop it breaking up too much
DH is terrible at questions like that - he's just saying "however you do it it will be lovely" but I can imagine a horrible sludge of sauce and stuffing if it all breaks up in the pie!
