M and S Christmas Food to Order!

….is up and running. I’ve ordered a side of salmon, white chocolate pine cones, potato dauphinoise and some other bits and bobs.
Feeling uncharacteristically organised!

I've ordered very similar things to you. It seems crazy to order xmas food in September, but if I don't get an 8am slot I have no hope of getting a carpark for the collection.

I’ve bought a few things to reserve my spot. So far, I have the sausage roll wreath, posh garnish pack, potato dauphinois and of course, chocolate fir cones. May add a side of salmon later. Meat will come from the local butcher, fruit and veg from the greengrocer. Everything else from Waitrose or Cook because they are in walking distance and I can’t be arsed to look for parking spaces in the run up to Christmas.

We’re not too bad for parking here but getting in and out of any shopping area/supermarket a few days before Christmas is a definite Hell, yes!

We too get our meat from the local butcher.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve done the main shop at 6am on the 22nd/23rd December at Sainsbury’s but last year was too stressful for words. So many other customers had the same idea as me 🤣
So this year, I’m going to do an online shop and hope I get everything I need!
I need to find out when the Sainsbury’s Christmas delivery slots become available.
