Hi guys I know it’s early but I need to buy a Christmas tree I have seen this and it looks amazing but I’m just wondering does anyone else have this and what it is like as it’s mixed reviews 🎄❄️x

( I did try post it as one picture but it said it was too large 😂)

Following as this us exactly what I'm looking for.

I had this tree and got rid of it last year. The flocking is terrible and falls off if you so much as look at the tree. The lights aren’t very well spaced out either so lots of dark spaces.

its a nice shape but it does take a lot of fluffing and faffing which means more flocking falls off to make it look nice and full like the pictures

I think it’s perfect but to good to be true I see ones for 400+ but I wouldn’t dare pay that much for a tree x

Not to my taste and flicking can be harmful to small children and pets.

We had one with 'artificial snow' and the first year it was fine,
Year 2 - smelt a bit funny
Year 3 - smelt horrible, jet washed it (!) and sprayed it with Fabreeze.
Year 4 - smelt like vomit and we threw it away.
I think it was the 'snow' that was the problem.

We had a similar one (not the faux snow version though) but the quality was really poor. I bought a balsam hill one in a sale in 2020 and it’s held up much better.

We have this tree and I love it! But I'm not too fussy. The snow falls off into the ground but I don't mind.

Queenofheart · 16/09/2025 14:31

We have one pretty much identical to this, I love it, only a few sprinkles of snow fall off it, it doesn't smell and it has two different coloured lights, warm white and cold white. It's gorgeous.

I bought it from the garden centre in Ambleside. It was a really expensive one, but I managed to get it for a fraction of the price in the January sales. They do amazing January sales, up to 75% off, I go every year :)

So if you don’t mind waiting, it might be worth checking out the sales.

Get on ebay ir fa ebook,I bought a fab john lewis 7f tree for £50 off someone... it has hinged branches and is a dream to put up!

WilfredsPies · 17/09/2025 11:18

I don’t have it, but my experience with Asda trees are that they are never going to look as full and as fluffed out as they do in the photos, unless you hire a Harrods window dresser to come and give it a wash and blow dry. If you do get it, I’d strongly recommend buying some of the green, non shiny, tinsel as well, just to fill it out a bit and hide some of the gaps. And definitely test the lights are working first before you spend hours making it look lovely!

We had this and it was awful the middle section is much sparser than the top and bottom so it looks strange
