Not rugby themed, but good stocking fillers here for older teen boy have included power bank for phone, socks, card games, extra cables for phone/devices, toiletries, chocolate, hot chocolate sachets, American sweets, AirPods cleaning kit, Costa voucher, new hat or gloves when needed.

ok my dh and dcs get these;

Power bank (anker do some great magnetic ones or ones with leads built in)
charging leads
bag for the above

old magazine to do with an interest e.g football magazine from when their team did well, or old kerrang from a band they like.

small aftershave samples - eBay or perfume parlour
interesting sweets from Japan (blippo or somewhere)
tiny remote control cars they can race each other
sweets in boxes like maltesers and jelly tots
some stationery
toblerone
chocolate orange
Socks
something fiddly. Fidget spinners, magnetic pens, those magnetic balls or tiles.

Don't waste money on stocking fillers they don't really want. Use the money saved to buy a ticket for a game.

OMGitsnotgood · 14/09/2025 12:20

I suggested stopping stockings to my adult DC a couple of years ago and they were adamant that we continue. Stockings make their Christmas, apparently. I don’t want to put tat in that won’t be used, so always looking for ideas. I think older boys are particularly difficult, gets easier when they have their own places!
Things they will need anyway: socks, boxers, shower gel, deodorant, hair styling products if they use them, moisturiser
Book or magazine
Little nano block figures are always enjoyed here
Foodstuffs: microwave popcorn; Nando’s sauces; Nutella (I always refused to buy it but DC always loved it), instant noodles
things they need for school/college - pens/pencil case

CoffeeChocolateWine · 14/09/2025 15:47

Nice shower gel/toiletries
Muscle bath soak

Grip socks
Sneaker balls (deodorisers)
Boot buddy
Fitness dice

And one of my most successful stocking fillers ever, which I got for all three of my DC years ago but still get used loads, were personalised marshmallow toasting forks!

Ilovelurchers · 14/09/2025 23:20

Books! (Fiction or non-fiction - biographies of their fave players maybe?)
Toiletry items such as deodorant, fragrance, hair gel - a lot of lads are getting into skin care now too.
Jewellery if they wear it
Socks
Boxers
Themed mugs (rugby related?)
Chocs/sweets
Pot noodle or other savoury snacks
Beer for your eldest?
Vouchers for Greggs, Maccies, Costa, wherever they like
Survival type items like multi-toils or pen knives.
Stress balls/fidget toys
Favourite soft drinks
Wallets
Cinema vouchers

Streatfeild · 16/09/2025 10:38

Nice shower gel
New electric toothbrush
Socks
Scratchcard (but what if one wins!!)
A voucher for Greggs or Costa or euivalent
Chocolate orange
A puzzle like one of those wooden or metal ones you need to solve by separating two pieces or similar, if that makes sense
A magic trick that is silly eg the plaster with a nail sticking out that you wear on your finger, or a chewing gum packet that snaps.

Spacecowboy666 · 17/09/2025 14:09

Oddballs pants
protein powders or bars
energy gel
any training kit need a refresh?
new gym gear
nandos voucher

waltercrimble · 19/09/2025 12:43

In the boots 3 for 2 last year they did a Gilbert rugby ball wash bag. I am sure there were other Gilbert items too.

A kicking t
any kit they might need
club or country hat and or scarf
gain the edge socks
squeezy water bottle
boot bag

Halfachristmas · 19/09/2025 16:53

Gilbert website have a father Christmas rugby ball , beanie hat as well could be good

Streatfeild · 19/09/2025 21:44

What about those boot cleaner bottle brush things? Practical, but maybe good for a stocking

musttryharder · 26/09/2025 22:12

Spare gum shield
spare socks for the team they play for. In fact give them just one of the socks and hang on to the other for when invariably you are only left with one sock on match day.
roll on deep heat
match ticket for local team game
water bottle that will stand being lobbed across a pitch
