It's currently 60% off, and then extra discounts like a further 10% off over £50, free delivery etc. I've had one order already and it's all just shein/temu quality but most of it was absolutely fine.

Would love to hear what things people have ordered that have been a success?

My first order wins:

-packing cubes
-little jewellery boxes
-initial make up bags
-halloween decorations
-diamond art supplies
-acrylic cotton buds holder
-skipping rope
-notebooks
-christmas ribbon
-fridge magnets
-ACOTAR cushion cover

Great idea. I have been really impressed with the vast majority of what I bought.

I’m about to place another order for pop-up cards, pencil case, different make up bag (first one was not good), Apple Watch strap, gift basket, Christmas stickers, origami paper.

Reposting list from other thread in case it helps:

Fantastic:
Small wooden nail brushes
Wooden hairbrush
Beautiful acrylic wide toothed comb
Crocheted flowers
Magsafe wallet with built in stand
Canvas handbag
Bendy frog plant supports
Plant support wire
Compostable seedling planting bags
Men’s belts boxed set
Monocular telescope

Very good:
Phone lanyards
Phone strap
AirPod’s case
AirPods anti loss straps
Fabric resistance bands
Yoga strap
Enormous folding shopping bag that folds really small and has straps and a zip
Pop up washing baskets
Metal book ends
Phone and keyboard cleaners
Sewing kit
Tweezers set
Manicure set
Handbag hangers
cooling gym towels
Heated towel-rail hooks

Good:
Multitool
Precision screwdrivers

Poor:
Magnetic phone ring that wasn’t magnetic
Drawer organisers that are just soft fabric
UV sleeves that are child-sized
“Self inflating” travel pillow that doesn’t inflate
Gardening hat (tiny!)
Makeup bag
clothing - cycle shorts, sleep bras, leggings. (The sizing was ENORMOUS. I am a U.K. size 20 so assumed a 3XL or 4XL according to their sizing chart, but could literally have fitted 2 of me in the shorts, which is a shame because fabric was good and they seemed well made.)

zacsGranny · 09/09/2025 12:59

I've ordered the travel jewellery boxes, organza bags, ribbons, monocular, telescopic / magnetic pickup tool, and decorations to make a Christmas Wreath.
All pretty decent quality.

excellent summary @fishfingersandchipsagain, thank you so much.

Really useful for everyone having "the good" and "don't bother" list of items

Ooh you couldn’t link (or provide more details) to the boxed men’s belts, tweezers and giant foldable shopping bag could you?

Thanks

I did an order when it was 70% off a couple of weeks ago, and was quite impressed with the quality for the money. Managed to get some stocking fillers my DC will love, as well as some household bits -

Really Good:
"Just a girl who loves cat" metal bookmark
Sword Metal Bookmark - not sure how good it'll be as a bookmark due to its shape but my DC will love it
Clips that keep sheets on the bed - I LOVE these, they work so well!
RFID Magnetic Card Wallet - quality is excellent
Anti-Lose Straps for AirPods - fab for DC at the gym
3D Birthday Cards - smaller than expected but still really good
Mini Sewing Kit
Invisible Belt - cost less than 50p and its really helpful for DC who struggles with buckles
Sleep Bra - really comfy, but sizing very small, I accidentally ordered a cup size 2 sizes up and its a perfect fit
Glasses Cases - lovely pattern and sturdy

Good:
Mini Ziplock bags for beads
S Hooks
Acrylic Bookmarks
Silicone Cable Ties
Compression Bags - material seems quite thin but they do compress well

Not so Good:
Iron on Letters - tiny and hard to separate
Monocular Telescope - I struggle with it but this might be because of my prescription (I have a prism)
Fridge Magnets - much smaller than they look in photos
Crevice Brushes - super thin feel like they'll snap easily

@CuckooMamgu did you see these “just a girl who love cats” acrylic desk sign

I got one of these with a different picture, and was impressed. They are really nicely finished. But I saw the cat one this evening and thought of you.

CuckooMamgu · 10/09/2025 16:56

@fishfingersandchipsagain no I hadn’t, thank you. My DD will love that.

ChristmasMad1 · 10/09/2025 19:03

I have bought a large haul order, just waiting for it to arrive Tuesday!!

WaterfallSounds · 10/09/2025 19:16

The Apple Watch straps are crap.
Don’t waste your money

cheesychipsontheoche · 10/09/2025 19:30

First haul arrived yesterday - some great bits for the car (a bin, some hooks and and an iPad holder which dd has been asking for for ages. Also pleased with hair clips for sticking fillers, some storage bags and packs of scissors. Have done another 2 orders

Confusedmeanderings · 11/09/2025 02:35

I bought:

  • Mens dress shirt - it was well made but huge and had to go back, but when I started a return they refunded me and said to keep the shirt, so a win in the end!

*Mans belt

*Handbag hooks

*Jewellery organiser

*Desk top storage unit - very cheap looking, I wouldn't buy it again.

*Pretty fillable perfume atomisers, would make a great stocking filler

fishfingersandchipsagain · 11/09/2025 04:36

I had forgotten that they accept returns. Started a return last night for the (few) things that weren’t right. A couple of things they don’t want back, but have refunded anyway.

I do wonder how they handle the logistics of returns for such low value items. Hopefully they do get resold rather than ending up in landfill.

IlovePond · 13/09/2025 16:53

My 60% off Haul has arrived. I am very pleased - none of it is rubbish and the whole lot cost £20.
I am particularly pleased with the towels, tea towels, yoga blocks, magnetic bookmarks and socks. The nicely packaged cardboard box contains a pair of novelty husky socks that I can’t show you as they are for DH’s stocking and he’s in the room!
I am not sure why I ordered two pink cooling towels, though!

Has anyone parcel been delayed?

I ordered in the 60% off, it was supposed to arrive today but now days delayed arrival by the 19th, and if it don't arrive by the 19th I will be refunded 😭. I would rather have my items not the refund, as the were all stocking fillers!

cheesychipsontheoche · 16/09/2025 20:01

Mine had that delayed message yesterday. Turned up today. Was very pleased as it’s all the stuff for DDs party bags for her birthday party

PearlsPearl · 18/09/2025 21:12

Got my second order today and equally happy with most.

WINS:

-giant waterproof halloween banner for the garage doors
-fishing lures
-skipping rope

Fail
-little wire storage box, was tiny!

Interesting to read this thread as I have been looking at Halloween bits on there. Worth a gamble then it seems?

IlovePond · 20/09/2025 14:20

@WimbyAce - I have been very impressed with my haul purchases.

fishfingersandchipsagain · 20/09/2025 16:39

My last order arrived (and if probably is my last, because I think I’ve now bought everything I might want 😅)

Hits:

  • Apple Watch straps - both the stretchy ones and the Milano loop ones. I can’t tell them apart from the official Apple ones I have.
  • Acrylic desk signs - various ones for different people e.g. inspirational They are really surprisingly good quality, nicely made and well packaged.
  • Lined canvas pouches for make up, chargers etc
  • More metal bookends
  • Pop up greetings cards
  • origami paper
  • Gift basket/hamper kit containing woven cotton basket and associated wrapping

Misses:

  • Phone pouch bags, both patterned ones and military-style ones. Really cheap and nasty
  • A metal cut-out sign for on the wall. It measures a quarter the size of what it said in the listing
  • hair clip that doesn’t open
  • ”invisible belt” to make jeans waist smaller. Bought through FOMO when it was mentioned on here. Doesn’t work well for me - the poppers keep coming undone.
IlovePond · 20/09/2025 16:45

Thanks for the info @fishfingersandchipsagain - you could probably get a refund for the items not as described.

They’ve been very good at refunding even items that I just didn’t like. Quite unexpected because I expected them to operate like Shein or Temu, but actually it’s the same customer service as regular Amazon.

Do you just go through the refund page or do you talk to the customer service? Bought a blanket for a baby but it's got a long string like tie attached so no good

fishfingersandchipsagain · 20/09/2025 18:20

@MentyB exactly the same process as regular Amazon.

I go to my orders, pick the item, pick return, fill in the details, get given a QR code and drop it off.

There were two items where it just refunded straight away and I didn’t need to send back. Just realised I wasn’t charged postage on the items I returned either / but that might be the luck of the draw.
