What Christmas presents are you getting your 13 year old boy?

MulberryPeony · 04/09/2025 07:15

Lego mineral collection is coming out soon.
Probably some inexpensive aftershave.

ILoveGroot · 04/09/2025 07:32

My son is almost 13, some things on his list so far

Freeze dried sweets

Guinness world record book

Ripleys believe it or not

Some Jibbitz for his Crocs

Some vouchers for days out (I Fly, Escape room, pizza hut)

Unusual fizzy drinks from somewhere like Candy Mail

JacksonLambsCoat · 04/09/2025 07:39

My son will be 13 not long after Christmas. So far I’ve got him-
a new tv for his room
Lynx set (he loves allllll the Lynx)

I am going to get him-
a mini fridge for his room
some cool LED lights
some new adidas clothes
some Man City bits
a map of the world for his wall

We are going to Florida next year, he doesn’t know yet so maybe a new suitcase and some Disney bits suitable for a 13 year old boy who doesn’t like Disney (but loves rides!) if I can find any

ChocHotolate · 04/09/2025 08:05

My DS turned 13 recently, fun presents included a musical lolly and a snack bowl with phone holder

Forgottenmyphone · 04/09/2025 09:33

My DS isn’t quite a teenager, but acts like it sometimes!
AstraGlass light
Perplexus
GoCube Edge
Brick On mug
Stunt kite
Bears vs Babies game
Soda stream
VR headset
Novelty air pod case

Streatfeild · 04/09/2025 10:25

Mine wants the entire Lego F1 collection - I think it’s ten cars each around £20. So that’s Christmas sorted for him! (But his bday is same month)

AnneButNotHathaway · 04/09/2025 10:30

Lego set
Lava lamp
Glowing wall stickers
Good headphones or a powerbank
If he's into tech, then software subscription (could be a video editor or a music making program, etc)
Steam gift card if he's into gaming
Something related to his favorite team or band (hoodie from their merch store, a poster calendar with their photo, etc)
Building kit
Science kit

My 12yo usually just asks for a surprise. This year the surprise will be a gaming screen for his gaming driving seat. He's currently using an old PC screen.

Aside from this, I'm going to get him (and younger bro) a really good chess board.
I'll also get him the usual stuff like books, a new xbox game, new calendar, lynx, branded socks, a football shirt.

Following for new ideas here too.

Restlessinthenorth · 04/09/2025 11:56

For my teen it's strictly about clothes! For every day it's the montirex/monterain/trailberg/north face. For football days, stone island and CP company. Not cheap so hunting for bargains constantly!

PhantomErik · 04/09/2025 12:09

DS13 is really into airfix models & building dioramas so multiple sets & accessories.

Will also get:
Lego
Xbox gift card
Jurassic Park t-shirt
Citrus shower gel
Fidget toys
Treats etc

DS15 (in case it helps) upgrade of games consol
Rubix speed cube
Chess set
Phone case
Treats etc

Maqio have them for £17 each although I don't know if they have them all - they had McLaren and also some little blind bag ones

Sweetappley · 06/09/2025 13:10

Thanks everyone for the ideas.

He sounds like my boy, it's expensive!

Beefandspinach · 06/09/2025 20:39

Ds is 14, but he's getting:
New crocs
Hard drive for Xbox
Travel mug (great for football)
Team training top
Nike socks
Dunks
North face coat

DrLucyVanPelt · 07/09/2025 09:03

Thanks for this thread- also have nearly teenager with a January birthday and some good ideas.

The only thing he has asked for is a mystery football shirt box so need to investigate that.

For his last birthday we got a Snackverse subscription- monthly box of snacks from a different country
Snackverse

For our 13 year old and all his friends it is all about fragrances but not the cheap ones they are all in to luxury ones. Honestly my son has spent whole days exploring the fragrance sections of Harrods and Selfridges trying to pick the perfect one 🙄

Pinkroom · 19/09/2025 21:35

Finding it very difficult to think of ideas for my 13 year old this year so following!
It will likely be mostly clothing, aftershave, nice toiletrees (he hates lynx typically) slippers, gaming stuff but ive no idea what! Oh and lots of snacks

Sweetappley · 20/09/2025 18:19

Yes snacks I think can’t go wrong surely!?

OP posts:
stayathomer · 20/09/2025 18:24

A charcoal drawing set and sketch pad, a funko pop figurine thingy, a beano annual, a pair of funny socks and a selection box and then will see what he hints for.

CountryQueen · 20/09/2025 23:57

F1 Lego and expensive aftershave here too

euff · 21/09/2025 12:01

Star Wars fan who’s asked for Lego here so bit easier. He’s not into brands and fragrances etc yet. Likes comfy stuff.

Imperfectpolly · 25/09/2025 15:29

I'm having second thoughts about getting the gaming screen for DS so back again for more ideas.

He usually gets one big tech based present but I'm stumped this year for new ideas.

I have seen some good board games he will enjoy - the 1% club, Harry Potter monopoly, so they have gone onto the list. Also thinking of a massive beanbag.
