What are the IT brands across the board for teenage girls at the moment?

Looking for actual gifts to unwrap on the day not vouchers. I don’t have teen girls of my own but I have a reputation as the Cool Aunt who nails it every time gift wise that I am proud of and would like to maintain Grin

Ooh is hollister ‘in’ again? It was big when I was a teen in the mid 00s.

My niece loves Sephora makeup.

Im not sure with clothes brands! It seems it can vary between precise ages of teens (early vs late) or even the region you live.

Jemimapuddleduk · 31/08/2025 21:09

For beauty- glow recipe, rare beauty, laneige, summer Fridays and Sol de janeiro.

CryHavoc · 31/08/2025 21:17

Victoria’s Secret body sprays are my daughter’s favourite.

Gymbunny2025 · 01/09/2025 07:31

My teen is very into makeup and Korean style and I get her stuff on yesstyle. Lots of cult brands she requests off there

Gymbunny2025 · 01/09/2025 07:33

Fwee seems to be a popular request from her atm!

EatingSleeping · 01/09/2025 11:12

I think someone mentioned rare beauty, that's a big hit here. The glossier balms are popular.

I think byoma might be more popular with younger teens.

Hair care seems a big thing for my DDs and friends. They love keratese and L'Oréal pro.

Basically stand in Sephora and see where they all congregate ;)

EveryDayisFriday · 01/09/2025 11:15

My 2 ask for Boots vouchers and they spend ages choosing expensive skincare. Whilst I splash out on Aldi knockoffs.

Ddakji · 01/09/2025 11:15

DD got very excited about my freebie from Tirtir (K beauty brand). But generally she just buys whatever from Superdrug.

Otherwise she likes Urban Outfitters, Hollister, Bershka and Lovisa for jewellery.

Any suggestions for fancy haircare products for
a 17 year old with thick waist length hair which they wear loose and straight (currently has some bright colour in it as well)?

What about Beauty Brands?

if you know anyone going to Korea, facemasks, esp ones that look like animals…

TutTutTutSigh · 01/09/2025 19:18

Another vote for Sol de Janerio, dd wanted Victoria Secret body mist last year but didn't love it. Hollister and Urban Outfitters is back in.

Would love to know anyone going to Korea one of them is K Pop mad. There’s a Korean food shop in my city but I’m flummoxed as to what to buy from there I don’t know what’s nice!

Honestly you need to visit yesstyle. I’ve ordered a few times. All the Korean skin care and make up brands. (Weird imho) clothes. Delivery is free over x amount (maybe £50) but does take 2-3 weeks

ValleyClouds · 01/09/2025 21:03

@Gymbunny2025thanks! That site is quite overwhelming. I use UK household name products so I’m a complete novice in this arena.

True! There are a lot of cult/popular brands on there but I only know from Dd as makeup not my thing! I tend to try and write down on my phone if she mentions one

Gymbunny2025 · 01/09/2025 21:49

Fwee
focallure
Tirtir
gogo tales

some recent ones

Shmoigel · 01/09/2025 22:13

We have just been to London and carnaby street is still the place to be for teens!

My 14 year old loved
Pureseoul for make up
Brandy Melville
Subdued
Hollister

she also loves urban outfitters and Alo for sportswear. Lululemon is also coveted but pricey
