Hello.
I am struggling to enjoy Christmas after my mum died and would like to try doing something different this year.
I don't know if what I am looking for exists so was wondering if anyone knew of anything.
I want a hotel which is suitable for my children (who will be 2 and 5 by Christmas) but is still really nice and feels lovely and festive. Preferably with some kid friendly activities available. I want Christmas breakfast, dinner etc provided (and nice) and not where people will be unhappy I am there with my young children.
Location wise I am open, I would like it to be cold and maybe snowy, I was thinking northern Scotland, Finland but open to anywhere.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know!

I’m very sorry to hear of the loss of your mum 💐

I’ve always loved the look of this place in Scotland, seems very festive https://www.macdonaldhotels.co.uk/aviemore/venue/christmas

Not sure how much info will be available now for Christmas 2025, but worth giving them a call.

Not really fitting the description of snowy, but if you want magical.....
Disneyland Paris. It'll be all decorated for Xmas, totally perfect for little ones, that's my plan for new year.
