Has anyone done park christmas saving over the year? Looking to do that this year to save the last minute budget panic. Very young kids so easily pleased and I understand you can use it for Xmas food too at Sainsbury's? Anyone done this?

What about opening a post office account or something similar op and transferring a little in each week - then you have the option of shopping in Lidl or other shops ?

avail of summer sales etc ?

I’ve done it before and it was great, was so much easier.
thinking of doing it again for next year to be honest, this year was a bit too much stress!

I think its mainly because I have savings I top up throughout year, but when the car breaks down, or something crops up if it's there I dip into it. Whereas it feels specifically Christmas cornered off 😂 I also struggle with presents, I panic buy get overwhelmed with this or that, with a guided choice and allocated budget I might not flop and flounder 😂

If you do Park, do your research first. They offer different types of card so you need to look where each one can be spent so that you order one that suits your needs. Every year I see complaints on their facebook page that the card can't be used at x y or z and it's usually because the buyer just hasn't done the research.

Also this year there seemed to be delays sending out so if you do go ahead and order the aim to finish paying by the beginning of October if you can.

I've not done it for a few years, I put the money away every month instead now so I can buy where I like and if I see something early on I can get i

I did it a few years ago. I think I got amazon vouchers, marks and Sainsbury's
I found it very useful indeed.
