So I was watching a James Martin and he had cooked the veg (sprouts, carrots, broccoli,cauliflower) the day before, put it in iced water and left it.
Then on then day drop whole lot into boiling water for 2/3 minutes
Has anyone done it this way (I normally just cook it all on the day) and was it ok?
I know it should work as he's a chef but just wanted to check with anyone who has actually done it
