I had already blanched sprouts and froze
I'm doing roasted honey carrots and parsnips. Can I do them tomorrow morning. Glaze and put in fridge.?
Same for potatoes ?

Carrots, parsnips and potatoes I would do tomorrow and sit in pans or bowls of cold water.

Never glazed them the day before.

I always parboil the potatoes on Christmas Eve to roast on the day.

I always get one pan of carrot and suede mash chopped and in water, one pan for roasties and one pan for the honey parsnips and carrots ready Christmas Eve. Also make the onion gravy the day before too.

Cook it all tomorrow then microwave on Xmas day

My son and ex do all the veg prep and the clean up. I do everything in between because I know what I’m doing but it’s not fair if it all falls to one person.

I made carrot and parsnip mash and froze it (did that yesterday) and then I bought mini gratins (ds loves them)

potatoes - I will peel and leave in ice cold water tomorrow ready for putting the the oven Christmas Day and I’ll Jist steam Brussels and broccoli 30 mins before dinner once turkey is out resting

thats what I always do - I’ve made stuffing for the freezer
