I was doing so well… now each kid has an extra present.
I’m collecting the M&S food on Monday. Hopefully I can stay strong and stick to my list 🤞🏼

I do it all the time. Bought four extra presents for Grandkids..I'm staying away from the shops now.
Daughter got food delivery arriving.

My older two have been saying there is nothing in particular they want for the last two months. Then, three days ago, the oldest decided all she wants is a mother goose toy that has babies. The middle one then said how much he really, really wants Viking figures and he asked Santa for it in secret. 😳
I got my youngest a road sweeper toy that he lost his mind over as we passed the toy shop on the school run.

I'm staying strong. DS mentioned he wants a badge maker. I nearly twitched but resisted. Am wrapping all the presents this afternoon so hopefully that will remind me just how much I've bought!

I have twitched, and it was quite a big extra present too!

I consulted with dp, expecting him to be the voice of reason about an extra gift, and he said "we can afford and and they would love it".

So I'm blaming him!

Yep, I nipped into the city centre today as I needed to pick up a gift voucher for DD from a specific shop which is a gift from my MIL.

Had a quick look in primark (big mistake!) as I needed some socks and now DD has an extra fluffy Miffy dressing gown, Hello Kitty ramen bowl and a Christmas cup!

I twitched...big twitch too! Turns out the one thing dgd asked Father Christmas for was something I'd never have thought of.

Lets hope she doesn't change her mind 😅

I twitched nothing big but axolotl squishy slippers. They are very cute and on sale for €17 instead of €24. My dd 9 loves axolotls.

My ds asked for a gaming PC which we got him along with a gaming desk. His uncle got new monitors so gave us his two old 24' ones. I ordered a dual monitor stand but it is not arriving till after Christmas. I might put it up for his birthday in April. He has a monitor but not that big.
