Designing a Christmas message for WhatsApp

<Disclaimer: I have very basic tech skills>

Does anyone know please if such a thing exists as a personalised Christmas “card”
that you can send by WhatsApp or by text message please?

I live abroad and sending traditional Christmas cards has become too expensive but I have lots of family and friends who I would like to message on the day itself. And it will take ages to do each one individually.

I’ve tried mocking up a photo with text etc to send but it looks very amateur.

Obviously I know about Jacqui Lawson cards which are sent by e-mail.

Are there any other options please?

Ideally I would like to insert one of my photos in to some sort of template, set the design, and send it to multiple people.

TIA for any info or advice.

Try the free version of Canva - easy to use and lots of templates

Thank you. I know that’s a design app but I’ve never used it before. I am using an iPhone.

I did see some links mentioning Canva but I am a bit suspicious of free versions of anything, especially if I am uploading photos from my device. Is it safe to do so?

Sorry if that’s a stupid question.

Also, I want a quite classic, tasteful design, and a lot of the templates are quite brash with wording that is more suitable for the US.

Thank you for the suggestion though!

I will go and attempt to use it!

i know what you mean re free versions, but this is fine. And you can use a template as a base and take things on and easily .
