Cooking gammon for lunch

I like a bit of honey roasted gammon but I'm new to cooking it myself. I was thinking of boiling it before it roasting it, but then I wondered if I could slow cook it and finish it in the oven to give it a nice roasted finish.
Does anyone have a good recipe? I have a slow cooker, an instant pot and a Ninja Speedi if any of those are helpful!

I think I would slow cook it too, I think I have done it before and made a honey glaze using honey, brown sugar and mustard, finish in the oven. Sorry I don’t have a recipe, I kind of just wing it and hope for the best.

There's another thread in the Christmas section called best gammon EVER! Check that out for ideas and tips

I boil mine in a pot of water first (or you can use coke, cider) with carrots, celery, bay leafs, peppercorns and onions.

then I take it out and take the first layer of fat off as it's kind of rough-ish, then i score the fatty bit and add my Glaze and I'll bake it in the oven till golden 🩷 keep taking it out and basting it every so often 😋
