Anyone got anything they could recommmend that’s been a hit with their teenage boy? He is currently lacking in presents compared to his sister who I could buy loads for if budget allowed. Need a few more things.

He loves the gym, football and gaming but says he has everything he wants for those. He has chocs and sweets and toiletries and a plant for his room. Also got some clothes. Doesn’t want / need any more aftershave. can’t think of an experience. I’m stumped. May just give him some money to top up to what his sister has as will be pointless buying for the sake of it but I’d love to get something else.

We gave young driver at 16 and it was a hit. However i would give the cash if there is nothing he really wants.

WhoWhereWhatWhy · 11/12/2024 15:39

Mine has - from us and from wider family:

laptop (this is for school, he has to have one, but we’re sort of giving it to him as part of his Christmas present)

watch

theatre tickets

we’ve framed his tickets and some photos from the summer olympics

switch game (EA sports)

hollister hoodie

gym shirts and gym top

trainers for the gym (his outdoor running shoes are always too dirty for the gym)

arm band for his phone whilst running

stationery - glue sticks, highlighters and pens

Yahtzee

hot chocolate and marshmallows

coffee syrup and pump

chocolate coins and tic tacs

Erling · 11/12/2024 15:51

Mine has got a new bigger screen for his pc, a new gaming chair. a new keyboard for his PC. These are all things that are needed though

He's also got
Keyboard putty
Oasis t shirt
Nike joggers
Mystery American sweet box
A figure of his favourite footballer
An assortment of sweets

I just want to buy him some smellies now. I don't feel like he has enough but my budget won't stretch to much more.

EmmyPankhurst · 11/12/2024 16:00

Books - maybe a football related biography if he isn't big fiction reader.

Myprotein usually goes down well. I’d get the Impact whey protein in vanilla and maybe a clear whey which is more like a juice. Thrill they have an offer on at the moment as well. To be fair they usually have some kind of discount on!

Thanks. I think i might go for the variety pack which has 10 favours and see which he likes.

We’ve just brought standard sizes however ds is a classical “adult” male rugby player 17.5 stone of muscle, his thighs are ridiculously large, due to this we’ve had to buy 2/3 XL just so they fit his thighs (too big on waist) he’s more longer in body than leg.
