Those mini fridges

They look kinda of good and just the thing a tween or young teen might like in their room. Other than cosmetics, what can they store in them? Are there any energy efficient ones?

You can’t fit much in them and some of them hum which could be annoying at night. Ours took a few cans of fizzy drink and not much else.

Mhm, nocturnal humming doesn't appeal (would rather have a fish tank ). Has anyone had a min fridge and found it useful?

What other gifts like a mini fridge might appeal to a 12/13 year old?

I have taken one to retreats and things so I don't have to drink the bloody oat milk, and know a couple of people who have then in their bedrooms for morning tea etc.
