Any panettone aficionados out there?

I want to buy a really nice big one as a gift, but it’s a bit of a minefield. Looked in a few shops today but came away confused and am now searching online. Budget £25-30.

Any brands I should look out for?

Am wanting to try the Sainsbury's one as on sale.

I have hardly seen any this year! I am worried they are caught up in some post Brexit customs wasteland.

I saw one of these yesterday in a posh cafe. £40.

I can’t really buy them Lidl. They’re rich AF and lovely and not expecting a gift, but supermarket own brand just won’t cut it (in my head!). Will look in Lidl for my own one, though.

Another vote for Lina Stores if I'm after a super nice gift (can confirm are delicious!) but I saw John Lewis had them in nice tins for £20 (though have not taste tested..)

Last year I bought a pistachio one from tk max and it was amazing, I have been eyeing up the Lidl one this year which is £9.99 but I’m waiting for someone to say it’s amazing before buying.

This is the one our local Italian place swears by. This year we've got the chocolate one as DCs aren't fans of dried fruit 🙄, it's delicious too.

Would the Gail's one be appropriate? Pretty bloody pricey but not Fortnums level. They have a "regular" one and then also a chocolate one and a pistachio and lemon.
