only impulse brought a jellycat bunny dd kept showing me and I finally found one in stock
an adidas tahirt for DP in jd sports which was only £10
a Nike tshirt for DS because he loves a striped tshirt and been looking for a while for a nice one and low and behold found one on Zalando, heavily reduced.
sabrina carpenter perfume for dd as I had a Superdrug discount voucher which was burning a whole in my pocket.

I twitched. I thought I had Christmas in the bag in October with the Lidl big wooden toy sale. Then in November I added a car transporter and an Elsa costume. Then this week I bought their first proper bikes as the big presents. I wanted them to have a "wow" and suddenly I didn't feel like the original presents were going to cut it. 😅

Just hit "buy" on Amazon to get another book for DD.

I justified it with "I want to read it as well", did the same with a book purchase for DH on Wednesday.

Bookstores are dangerous places for me to go near in December.

i’m having a last minute panic, and am trying not to twitch… . Although I did go to tk maxx yesterday and got two things for the dog!

Twitched again and ordered DS a new long sloth hot water bottle as his bit the dust last year and I totally forgot until he mentioned it. Still under budget on his so I bought it 😂

Almost made it through but saw a penguin teddy in WH Smith for £3 so couldn’t resist.

Got 6 items in my basket that I’m trying to decide whether to buy for the kids. I’ve been buying since July so have twitched multiple times!
I’m holding out until Monday when I wrap the presents and will then make a decision on whether to cave in and buy the extras

Yep Lego for DS which I know he will adore. But is only released after Christmas & his birthday so it’ll just have to be a bonus present!

Just realised that there is a new Dog Man book, so I'll be getting that for DS. Think there might be a Cat Kid Comic Club, so that might be added too...

I have shopping accidents all the time

I haven't twitched this year but I did last year. A few days before Christmas I ordered a life size cut out of Harry Styles for my 27 year old daughter! She loved it and her husband leaves it in strange places like the bath so it frightens visitors when they use the loo 🤣

My colleague bought one of those 10? years ago for her then teen. She sneaked it into the bedroom over night and it scared the life out of her teen when she woke up with HS in her room.

I’m twitching about getting DS a Lego Star Wars set

I still have main presents to get, so not twitched yet. Although I did buy a clear glass bauble yesterday and filled it with dog fur as our lovely girl is getting on. It's for DH, hope he doesn't cry, he's quite a softy when it comes to the dog.

I had to buy cuddly toys today as DD8 was musing on which one might be in her stocking this year! I wanted Squishmallows but could only find one nice one and needed two, so I got Bumbums instead, dreadful name but they are cute.

I've scarcely started my shopping yet so, whilst I am buying everything I see which DH, DD or DS might like, it's different from twitching! I have the day off on Wednesday when I'll go through everything and anything bought after that will be a twitch

Yesterday bargain 2 lots kids pyjamas from M&s, one for DD one DN last week or so £10 gemstone bracelets from Carrie Elsbeth, but that helped me out with a friend I wasn't expecting to be seeing....today the new book about Elvis by his daughter and granddaughter for DD to give me to go with whatever craft thing she's concocted.
