Stocking toy for 5yo DS

I’m looking for an idea for a small good quality toy that I can buy for DS5’s stocking. Not Lego (he has loads of this) but ideally something that he can get a lot of play out of, so more than a one hit wonder. Any suggestions? Happy to buy second hand on vinted or new. I know this is a very broad question but I’d love other people’s ideas. He likes to build things and loves vehicles, but has loads of cars already.

Fidget type toy like a Jacobs ladder? There is a triangle loop thing which you can make shapes out of that I can't remember what it's called.

Little action figures based on his interests like star wars or dinosaurs etc

Magnets

Magnifying glass/mini telescope

I used to get a lot of stuff from Bright minds shop when my boys were children, you might get some ideas?

I thought this looked like it might be suitable

Actually, one of the things (other than lego) that my DC played with for a long time was Jenga, rarely played with as it was meant to be, usually made into things like a car park or battle field or castle or whatever. A mixed box of wooden blocks would probably fulfill the same purpose.

Thank you so much for all these ideas - I’m looking at all the suggestions.
