Emergency present replacement - Laneige

Does anyone, by some miracle, know whether anywhere has the candy cane lip stuff in stock? Someone gave DD one as a present and it met a slightly unfortunate fate and she’s devastated but I can’t find a replacement anywhere!

I think Selfridges have both the lip balm and sleep mask in candy cane in stock

Do you have a Space NK nearby? They don't seen to have it online anymore but my local store had loads last week

Thanks everyone. We’ve tried 4 local Space NK stores, they didn’t have them in stock. We have compromised on a replacement lip mask with a different flavour plus the lip balm in candy cane and a promise we’ll keep an eye out for Candy Cane lip mask next festive season

Thanks - I have seen the eBay ones but they’re way overpriced and most wouldn’t guarantee getting here before Christmas

Can you expand your Boots search or ask friends and family to look out. We got one the weekend before last in Boots. We tried one town on Saturday with no luck but luckily driving through another town Sunday we stopped at Boots to check and they had one.

Tried them, they were out of stock online and I’m not near enough to London to try in person but thanks for the suggestion 🙂

We’ve had 5 sets of people trying out a variety of stores. It’s showing in stock at two in a 50 mile radius of where we live and parents in law of friends have been tasked with checking out their local ones (with photos) to make sure they look for the correct item so we’ve expanded the search as far as possible.

it’s just a shame because the unfortunate end that it met was being stolen from her bag at school the day she was gifted it, otherwise I wouldn’t be trying so hard to find a needle in a haystack 🤣

Maybe the power of Mumsnet can find you one! I'm in London and if I see one at any of the suggested stores I'm happy to get it for you and send it over.

OP, some children lack boundaries and I would follow that up with leaflets.

I helped my DD to make one when her keyring squishy got stolen. She hanged it in the cloakroom and some children from her class helped to spread the word with other leaflets in the yard.

Eventually a month and a half later it turned up.

This might be someone who knows she has this item. How old is she?

Is it the lip mask or the lip balm? There was definitely some of the candy cane lip mask in the big Boots in Kingston early last week. I was having to steer my daughter away from it as I've bought it for her already for Christmas. It's showing as still in stock there but unfortunately I can't get there any time soon to check for you. Do you know anyone near there who could have a look?

Alternatively, Boots in Brent Cross and in Watford also showing as in stock in store if any good, but no guarantee it's accurate.

That’s terrible OP. I’ve just told my 12yo DD and she said her hearts breaks for your DD, she holds onto hers for dear life. My dd bought hers with her own money, I’d absolutely be doing the same in your shoes. Good luck 🤞 x
