Gift for cleaner

I'm looking for thoughts on what to do about a Christmas gift for our cleaner. She only started recently so her last visit before Christmas will only be the third time she's cleaned for us but after two visits so far I'm very happy!

A "thoughtful" gift is probably out as she comes while we're out so I hardly know her other than that she has one preschool child.

Would you give cash (if so how much)? Or wine/chocolates? Or something else?

For info, we live in the SW and the cleaner comes once a fortnight for 3 hours. We pay her £15/hr (set by the agency we use)

I usually get a card and box of chocolates for my cleaner.

I give my cleaner an extra weeks pay at Christmas and in the summer so I’d probably give her £45. Reliable cleaners are worth their weight in gold and if you have a good one, you want to keep her.

Yup, I also do card and a box of chocs.

I'm doing an extra weeks pay, her fave choccies and a £30 gift card for her favourite coffee shop.

Happy with whatever but my customers know me well it seems!

Thank all. I think we'll perhaps do a box of chocs this year and if she's as good as she seems a weeks' wages as well next year.
