Good board games for 9 year old boys

Can anyone please recommend any good board games?

Something that doesn't take too long to play. If it could have a learning element then added bonus.

Santorini is fabulous. It's a strategy game but fairly easy.
The player's characters are all Greek Goddesses and Gods so he'll learn those.

My DS likes Blokus and Qwirkle

Pass the bomb, exploding kittens and chess, battleships and rumikub are popular here
