Nativity costumes

Has anyone seen nativity costumes in any shops this year or have I already missed the boat? Kids only got given their roles on Monday. Looking for a star but ideally a tabard one rather than one with a hole for the face. Argos/sainsburys had one but sold out. I've been round a few shops this morning and nowhere seems to have any in this year.

Also none on Facebook marketplace near me.
Looks like I might have to get making one.

I bought my sons one from Vinted.

I've always thought home made costumes are part of the charm of a traditional infants' Nativity play. Shop bought ones just aren't the same.

Did you try Amazon , they have tabard variety as well as the “hole for face” ones if you scroll through .
Good luck !

I don't know many parents (let's face it, mothers) who have the time or headspace for that at this time of year though.

I just tried to buy one on vinted and by the time I'd logged in (as I'd searched it on my work laptop) it had sold. It had only been upladed 4 mins before but already had a load of people interested so they must be in demand!
I couldn't see any on amazon but I'll have another scroll through now.

I remember making DS's shepherd costume and I'm rubbish at sewing. It was made from our old striped bathroom curtains and held together with a bit of tacking, velcro and wundaweb. I figured as it only needed to last one evening that would be enough and it was.
