Present ideas 3 year old

Looking for ideas for a 3 year old boy. He is the youngest and we have a lot of toys already (because of older siblings). We have a play kitchen, a balance bike, magformers, hot wheels, Peppa Pig stuff, books, vet set, baking bits and bobs, tons of Duplo and Lego, teddies, play doh, a toy train set.

so far for him for Christmas I have
-two tonie figures
-a kids umbrella (he asked for this but nothing else)
-a xmas pyjama

I have no idea what else to get him, I feel we have most toys already and also have lots of books. he doesn’t eat chocolate or sweets.

Any other ideas or inspiration please?

Maybe a craft box from Baker and Ross?

SchoolDilemma17 · 25/11/2024 07:14

Thanks

he likes his play kitchen, Duplo, not interested in Lego yet, sometimes interested in hot wheels and cars, likes to sometimes paint but not for long, likes books, play doh, pottering in the garden.

Magna tiles
wooden bricks
doctors/vet set
Kinetic sand
balance bike/scooter
pop up pirate

I'd buy some more Duplo to go with what you already have. Or some hotwheels track.

I wouldn't go nuts on a 3yo,

How about child sized knife etc to help in the real kitchen.
Or my son loved a wheelbarrow and small garden tools at that age.

https://amzn.eu/d/ffF90jG there are different styles of this or even the brio builder wooden version.

Yeah that’s the things, I just want a few bits to wrap. We have lots of (big) toys already and he hasn’t expressed any wishes apart from a kids umbrella.

maybe another Duplo set will work.

we have kinetic sand and I hate it 🤣 in reply to another poster.

DS loved having his own garden tools at that age.
Also, I know you said you have loads of books, but DS was a big fan of the Skippy Jon Jones books at that age (in case you don't have them).

Small things that are a hit at that age:
Magnifying glass
Binoculars
Light up bouncy ball
Scheich animals

If he likes games the busy busy world I found it game is great for 3-5 year olds

I hated kinetic sand too. It never made it into storage for DC2.

Or Playmobil if your looking for something new but I think adding to what you have makes more sense than starting a new collection of something.

We have one

I’ve got my DS (four next month) a toy crane if that helps.
